Registered Nurse, Clinical Delivery (Part Time)

Position Overview

The Registered Nurse, Clinical Delivery (RN) in this role will manage the communication of critical and abnormal lab results to patients, ensuring compliance with state licensure requirements. This includes contacting patients, documenting communications, following up on lab escalations, and collaborating with providers to ensure all patient interactions are appropriately managed and documented. This role is also responsible for patient education, ensuring patients understand their lab results and any necessary next steps in their care, as well as providing study specific information that is tailored to the patient. Furthermore, they serve as a point of escalation for the Member Services team, addressing complex inquiries related to lab results and assisting in the resolution of patient concerns by providing clinical insights and ensuring patients receive accurate information and appropriate follow-up.

Job Description:

• Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm or 8:30am-5pm panel interviews on ms teams will be required to be onsite for the 1st week and then will be deployed to work from home. Will provide the equipment.

• Nice To Have skill sets/qualities: Working knowledge of spreadsheet, database software. Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively and have critical thinking skills. Experience in case management or care coordination and telephonic care experience is preferred.

• A typical day would be managing a case load of members telephonically, coordinating care including discharge planning. Assisting with triage when needed.

• The candidate needs to have strong communication skills, be an active listener and manage their time well.

• Team consists of a variety of healthcare professionals. We work closely together to manage the healthcare needs of our members.

Registered Cardiac Nurse

About the Role

• Education and Counseling: This role is a remote, patient-facing role. As part of our RN team, you will provide education about a patient’s diagnosis, test results and treatment plan.  

• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cardiologists, PCPs and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients. Discuss complex cases and participate in multidisciplinary care teams.  Utilize clinical decision making to escalate concerns to the care team. 

• Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including patient interactions, medical histories, assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries within scope of practice. Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Follow-Up Care: Schedule and conduct follow-up virtual visits to monitor patients' progress and address any concerns or questions.

• Patient Advocacy: Serve as an advocate for patients' needs and preferences, ensuring that they receive appropriate care and support throughout their healthcare journey.

Registered Nurse IV (Remote)

Summary: In support of DAWSON’s Enterprise Tele-Behavioral Health Clinical Services contract with the Defense Health Agency (DHA), we are seeking qualified candidates to fill our Registered Nurse positions. The position is remote and candidates may work from their home in the US or US territory and will serve military members OCONUS.

What You'll Do:

• Provide comprehensive clinical care by independently managing direct patient needs, including message triage, counseling, and education to patients in our Sexual Health and Metabolic Health care verticals.

• Complete tasks such as side effect management, efficacy counseling, and overall clinical practice support.

• Coordinate care effectively by triaging and escalating patient concerns to the appropriate provider groups (Staff RNs, Practitioners, Customer Care, Patient Advocates) according to Ro guidelines.
